Public Works Department protected TD resource in priority
October 9, the Ministry of Information Industry and wireless wave Xie Fei, deputy director of the Authority said yesterday that the “letter of the Ministry of Public Works has prepared a TD sufficient spectrum resources ,2300-2400MHz frequency resources will be reserved for the TD.”
Band wireless communications resources are an important resource scarcity, TD is currently used by the two frequency bands ,2010-2025MHz and 1880-1920MHz, the frequency of the total bandwidth of only 55MHz, while the 1900-1920MHz band has been the use of PHS, TD-SCDMA’s Available spectrum resources is very tense. Xie Fei, deputy director of that wave, the letter has been coordinating the Department of China Telecom and China Netcom PHS users to move as quickly as possible, and gradually hand over 1900-1920MHz band resources.
